Some shoots start with an idea, and this one began as a dream I couldn't stop thinking about—couples and horses, soft golden light, and that earthy, grounded kind of love.
When it came to choosing the right people for it, I didn't have to think twice. Blanka has been riding horses since she was four, and the bond she has with them is something you can feel instantly. She and Dani have this calm, connected energy that I knew would fit perfectly into the world I imagined for this shoot.
We arrived at the farm and it was like stepping into a fairytale—horses everywhere, light peeking through the trees, green fields stretching out in every direction.
We started shooting right away, and I'll be honest: it was hilarious. These horses were so playful—constantly nudging, nibbling, even giving us tiny bites every few minutes. It made the session a little more unpredictable (and maybe a little more chaotic), but honestly? It added to the joy.
Watching Blanka walk among the horses was something else. She looked like she'd just come home. The way they responded to her—it was like they felt it too. Like they knew she belonged there.
We ended the day wrapped in golden light, the kind that makes everything glow just a little softer. It felt timeless.
This shoot is still one of my absolute favorites. Maybe it's because I love animals so much. Or maybe it's just because when people and places align this perfectly, something beautiful always happens.
