Some sessions feel like quiet poetry—and this was one of them.
Andrea reached out to me wanting to document their little family, and after chatting through several options, we decided on a field in Csala. Looking back, it was the best decision we could have made. The area had everything: a golden field, a soft river, a forest, and the perfect spot to watch the sun set.
Andris, their sweet baby boy, was the calmest little soul. He spent the session peacefully exploring the world around him—eating a few leaves here and there (because, of course, that's what babies do). It was a sunny, warm autumn day, and everything was bathed in that golden, nostalgic light that only this season gives.
One of my favorite moments was when we stumbled upon a large, beautiful tree—old and wide and rooted deep into the earth. It immediately reminded me of a family tree. There was something poetic about photographing a family right there, beneath its branches, as if the tree had been waiting for them all along.
As a photographer—and as a human—these are the moments that stay with me. Making and capturing memories for children and their future selves, for generations to come, is such a privilege. This session has its own quiet place in my heart.
