Elopement session in the fields

Kamilla and I studied photography at the same university, so when they reached out to tell me they were planning an elopement and wanted me to capture it—I was over the moon. Elopements have always held a special place in my heart. There's something about the quiet intimacy, the deep connection, the way time slows down when it's just the two of you.

We found a field—simple, golden, open. It looked like it had been waiting just for them. We only had the last few rays of sun left when I said, “Okay—now run!” And they didn't hesitate. That's what I love about them. They're madly in love, unfiltered and present, passionate and carefree.

This shoot meant so much to me. The light, the love, the freedom—it was everything I dream of when I imagine what love can look like in photos.

Honestly? Life is about running through fields and laughing together. And on this day, with these two, that's exactly what we did.
