Panni & Kristóf:
Poppy fields and a golden fog

Some photo sessions feel like a movie—you go in expecting one thing, and life surprises you with something even better.

This one started with a drive. I was riding along a quiet road with my partner when I saw it: the perfect poppy field. A sea of red under soft skies, and I just knew—I had to bring a couple here. I said out loud, “This is it. I'm coming back here for a shoot.”

Not long after, Panni reached out to book a couple's session, and I instantly thought of the field. It felt meant to be.

But when the day came and we arrived… it had been cut. More than half of the flowers were gone. My heart dropped a little—I had imagined it so vividly. But we looked at each other and decided: we're still going to make this beautiful.

Then—it started raining. Light at first, then heavier. I won't lie, it felt like the universe was testing us. But Panni and Kristóf were the sweetest, so calm and warm and in love, and we just laughed and kept going. The rain passed. A soft sunset peeked through.

And just when we thought it was over, as we were walking back... it happened. We turned around—and there was fog drifting over the field, catching the last light, wrapping everything in this dreamy, golden haze. It looked like something out of a fairytale.

I grabbed my camera again and told them, “We're going back—can you see this?” And we did.

Those final frames? Unforgettable. Not because the conditions were perfect—but because we stayed open to whatever the day had for us. And in the end, it gave us magic.
