Family session in Budapest City Park

Some sessions feel like a whirlwind of sunshine and laughter—and this one definitely was. We had talked a lot with Blanka beforehand about where to go, and we finally landed on City Park in Budapest. It was Kids' Day, so the park was full of people, music, and that light chaos only a city celebration can bring. But somehow, that made it even better.

Blanka had put so much thought into their outfits—everyone matched perfectly, and it just made the whole shoot feel that much more special. We wandered through the park looking for quieter corners, and in between all the exploring, we got something even better: pure playfulness.

Mia is the sweetest little whirlwind—she couldn't stop chatting (I adored it), and she brought so much energy to the session. At one point we stumbled across a little gelato stand, and of course, we had to stop. It was such a sweet pause—sticky fingers, happy faces, and a perfect scoop of spontaneity.

After that, the session turned into something magical. They ran through the hills, played tag, tickled each other, and just lived fully in the moment. City Park is one of my favorite places in Budapest for exactly this reason—it has space to explore, to breathe, and to just be. And this family, in the middle of it all, was a little pocket of joy.
