There are some people you meet and immediately think, they're the sweetest. That was always how I felt about Eszter and Dominik—long before they became parents. So when Eszter messaged me in the middle of winter asking if I could photograph their little family's first Christmas season together, my heart lit up.
Even more special? They're photographers too. So when we started planning, we searched together for just the right space—and landed on a beautiful studio in Budapest. On the day of the shoot, we stepped in from the cold December air and were instantly wrapped in warmth and quiet light.
Everything about the session felt like the first pages of a new family chapter—soft, simple, and full of love. Janka, their tiny daughter, was calm and curious, her presence already grounding and glowing.
By the end of the shoot, she had drifted off to sleep. They gently tucked her into the car, and I watched them drive off into the quiet winter evening. It was peaceful in that rare, still way. And I found myself thinking: One day, I hope to have this too. This kind of soft joy. This kind of gentle love.
